  1. Data normalisation
    Before any cleansing or enhancement takes place we ensure that all the data is in the correct fields, e.g. postcodes are in the postcode field, names are split between title, forename and surname. This will maximise the results of the cleanse and enhance processes.
  2. De-duplication
    Sending multiple mailings to the same recipient not only wastes money but it can also reduce response rates and damage the image of your company or product.  We can dedupe single or multiple files on single or multiple fields to ensure that recipients get the best first impression of you.
  3. Mail preference System (MPS)
    Over 2.5million people in the UK have signed up to the MPS service, unless your database is a subscription database we will run your database against the MPS database to ensure households and individual do not receive unsolicited mail.  This data cleansing solution will not only save money on unwanted mailings it will also stop you incurring any fines!
  4. Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF)
    The Royal Mail PAF holds more than 26.5 million addresses, we will match your database against these files to ensure the addresses are postally correct and amend and enhance your database where required.  This data enhancement solution will ensure that your mailing is getting to the intended address and also allows you to maximise the postal discounts available.
  5. Data suppression
    With over 1.5million changes of address and over 700,000 deaths in the UK every year it is vital that your data is screened against ‘gone aways’ and ‘bereavement register’ databases.  Mailing to customers who aren’t there wastes money and in the case of bereavement causes distress to customer’s relatives.  By suppressing your database we can maximise the return on your mailing investment without causing offence to others.
