As one of Meads’ longest standing accounts, the Department for Work and Pensions have relied on our services for over 12 years. The original simple storage and fulfilment service provided has long since progressed to include multi-channel literature and promotional item ordering, call centre services for help lines, high volume mailing and campaign support, high volume warehousing with live stock management, and same day fulfilment and despatch.
We provide consultancy on supply chain streamlining initiatives, which have resulted in cost savings of over £500,000 to the DWP to date.
We have over 4000 pallets in storage, pick from 3500 SKU’s and despatch over 75,000 orders per annum, all of which equates to over 1.5 million items being ordered, picked, packed and despatched per year.
We also provide print and mailing services to the DWP for their internal and external communications. We created and maintain their internal distribution databases that enable tailored mailings to every member of staff within their 4500 office locations.
